AppliedSensor Launches New Technology-Based Website.
Company’s Focus on Intellectual Property Helps Customers Choose Sensors for Air Quality, Hydrogen and Other Sensing Applications.

June, 2006 AppliedSensor today launched a new English-language website (http://www.appliedsensor.com) to bring key enabling technologies, applications and products to customers in a framework of education, selection and customer service. The website was developed in advance of a series of product and platform announcements in key sensing areas, such as indoor air quality sensors for commercial and residential applications and high performance hydrogen gas sensors for energy applications focused on replacement of fossil fuels.

“We’ve dramatically improved our website and have enhanced customer access to current information,” said Tom Aiken, director of marketing. “We’ve built a scalable web delivery architecture that offers easy access to our technical materials. Based on our accelerated pace of new product development, we’re confident our re-engineered website will help customers learn about AppliedSensor solutions as we launch them.”

The website’s landing page provides a graphical synopsis of key technology areas addressed by AppliedSensor’s application development and commercial product line. Navigation buttons link visitors to new landing pages for Applications, Products and Technologies, with FAQ’s, News/Events and Contact information directly available. A Company button provides a timeline of AppliedSensor’s interesting background and history. A Site Map is available to speed drilling down into specific areas.

Technical content at the new site has been rewritten to emphasize key benefits and differentiators that will help engineers choose the best solutions. The Technology landing page discusses the company’s Metal Oxide Semiconductor, Field Effect and Quartz Microbalance sensor technologies. On the Products landing page, navigation tools provide one-click access to each category offered by the company.

An FAQ page collects popular questions and answers, and an e-mail link offers customers an opportunity to pose new questions. Going forward, AppliedSensor will continue to introduce new content including technical white papers, application notes and enhanced global customer service.
